Our blog readers (aka our mothers) will recognize these beautiful pictures as the work of our friends David and Jennilyn. David (and Jenn) are amazing photographers and we love both the finished pictures and how much fun we have taking them.

This session wasn’t as fun since Lil’ Miss wasn’t in a very photogenic mood. She has been teething something serious for the past week and broke through several molars over the weekend. That causes a whole host of unpleasant symptoms including bad diaper rash and a runny nose. The poor kid just wanted us to leave her alone, but unfortunately we kept putting her in front of a white back drop trying to get her to smile. It is a real testament to David and Jenn’s patience and professionalism (not to mention artistry) that the pictures turned out so beautifully!

On one hand I wish that we had these beautiful pictures of sparkling, shiny Clare without scratches on her nose and drool on her chin – but this is life. We take family pictures to capture where we’re at and these pictures are a beautiful slice of the last weekend.
